We Have Great Guarantees

We Have Great Guarantees

Hope is powerful when it’s put in the promises of God.

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
–  Romans 8:37 (NIV)

God guarantees to:

1.    Work in our circumstances for good

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
–  Romans 8:28 (NLT)

For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son.
– Romans 8:29 (NLT)

2.    Guide us when we trust Him

Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track.   Proverbs 3:5-6 The Message

Those who trust in themselves are fools…
–  Proverbs 28:26a (NIV)

3.    Answer our agreeing prayers

Again I say to you, that if two believers on earth agree [that is, are of one mind, in harmony] about anything that they ask [within the will of God], it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.
–  Matthew 18:19 (Amplified Bible)

…confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed…
–  James 5:16a (NIV)

4.    Bless His Word in our and other’s lives

It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.
–  Isaiah 55:11 (NLT)

For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.
–  Hebrews 4:12 (NLT)

But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?
–  Romans 10:14 (NLT)

5.    Give us a harvest when we sow generously

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
–  2 Corinthians 9:6 (NIV)

We are more than conquerors

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
–  Romans 8:37 (NIV)
